The combined cylinder generally refers to the gas-liquid damping cylinder, the gas-liquid booster cylinder, etc. formed by the combination of the cylinder and the hydraulic cylinder. As we all know, the working medium usually used in the cylinder is compressed air, which is characterized by fast action, but the speed is not easy to control. Generally considered incompressible hydraulic oil, its characteristic is that the action is not as fast as the cylinder, but the conditions and speed of Canadian immigrants are easy to control. Combining the air cylinder and the hydraulic cylinder ingeniously to make up for the shortcomings, it becomes the air-hydraulic damping cylinder commonly used in the pneumatic system.
Conditions of use
Keep the distance between parallel cylinders
The distance between the cylinders of the parallel cylinders must be greater than 40mm, otherwise the magnetic switches of the cylinders will interfere with each other and cause malfunction.
Auto switch wiring as short as possible
If the wiring is too long, the current will be large when the switch is turned on, and the service life of the switch will be shortened. If the wiring must be very long, more than 5 meters, a contact protection box must be used.
Piston rod cannot be subjected to radial force
The piston rod can only be pushed and pulled in the axial direction. Once it is subjected to a lateral force, the guide rod and the inner wall of the cylinder will have a different force, which will shorten the life of the cylinder. In the case of radial force, be sure to add guide rods or slide rails to assist, or directly select the cylinder with slide rails and guide rods.
Cylinder action should be protected
The cylinder is easy to hurt people. If there is no safety grating on the outside of the machine, the place where the cylinder moves must be protected.
Cylinders with guide rods cannot be used as gear points
There is a special blocking cylinder for the gear point. Don’t think that the cylinder with the guide rod can also be used as a gear point. It cannot withstand radial impact. If it is used as a gear point, the guide rod will be loose within a few months, resulting in poor positioning. allow.
Design support in the middle of the long stroke cylinder
Support should be designed in the middle of the long stroke cylinder to overcome the sagging of the piston rod, the sagging of the cylinder barrel, and the damage of the piston rod caused by vibration and external load.
The piping between the cylinder and the solenoid valve should not be too long
If the piping is too long, the gas will not be easily discharged and replaced, and it will be easy to condense over time.
Cylinder lubrication
Today's cylinders are generally pre-greased, so there is no need to add lubricating oil. However, once lubricating oil is added, the oil supply cannot be stopped, because the pre-added lubricating grease may be washed away, and the cylinder will not operate properly if the oil is not supplied.
