For us, we use a lot of cylinders , so what are the advantages of cylinders? What kind of cylinder is it divided into? What is the main structure of the cylinder?
(1) The requirements for users are low. The principle and structure of the cylinder are simple, easy to install and maintain, and the requirements for users are not high. The electric cylinder is different, engineers must have certain electrical knowledge, otherwise it is very likely to be damaged due to misoperation.
(2) The output force is large. The output force of the cylinder is proportional to the square of the cylinder diameter; while the output force of the electric cylinder is related to three factors, the cylinder diameter, the power of the motor and the pitch of the lead screw. The larger the cylinder diameter and power, and the smaller the pitch, the greater the output force. A cylinder with a cylinder diameter of 50mm can theoretically output a force of 2000N. For electric cylinders with the same cylinder diameter, although the products of different companies are different, they basically do not exceed 1000N. Obviously, the cylinder has more advantages in terms of output force.
(3) Strong adaptability. The cylinder can work normally in high temperature and low temperature environment and has the ability of dustproof and waterproof, and can adapt to various harsh environments. The electric cylinder has high requirements on the environment and poor adaptability due to the large number of electrical components.
There are two types of cylinders: reciprocating linear motion and reciprocating swing. Cylinders for reciprocating linear motion can be divided into four types: single-acting cylinders, double-acting cylinders, diaphragm cylinders and impact cylinders.
①Single-acting cylinder: There is only one end of the piston rod, the gas is supplied from the side of the piston to generate air pressure, and the air pressure pushes the piston to generate thrust to extend, and returns by spring or its own weight.
②Double-acting cylinder: Alternately supply air from both sides of the piston to output force in one or two directions.
③Diaphragm type cylinder: The diaphragm is used instead of the piston, the force is output in only one direction, and the spring is used for reset. It has good sealing performance but short stroke.
④ Impact cylinder: This is a new type of element. It converts the pressure energy of the compressed gas into the kinetic energy of the high-speed (10-20 m/s) motion of the piston, so as to do work.
⑤Rodless cylinder: The general term for cylinders without piston rods. There are two types of magnetic cylinders and cable cylinders.
The cylinder that does reciprocating swing is called a swing cylinder. The inner cavity is divided into two by the blades, and air is supplied to the two cavities alternately. The output shaft swings, and the swing angle is less than 280°. In addition, there are rotary cylinders, gas-hydraulic damping cylinders and stepping cylinders.
